Overview

FPT Webcast showcases an exclusive Press Conference about the partnership between FPT Industrial and Fontanafredda for the first zero-emissions Barolo wine. Realizing the World's first carbon-neutral grapes harvest and producing the first 100% sustainable bottles of the highly prized King of Wines: these are the goals of the collaboration between FPT Industrial, Fontanafredda and New Holland Agriculture. A project like this involves partners with a long-standing commitment to sustainability and responds to both broad sustainable development goals but also targeted needs of a specific sector, like environmentally friendly viticulture. The outcome is the creation of the first biomethane-fueled vineyard tractors at work among the grapevines of the Langhe region. Two crawler tractors powered by FPT Natural Gas engines will enable the sustainable cultivation and harvest of the prestigious grapes of Barolo cru “Vigna La Rosa” that has been included in the Wine Spectator Top 100 of the world's best wines.
